Family Assistance Center Operations

Target Audience:  Organizations involved with family assistance functions for mass casualty/mass fatality incidents.

Description:  Provides participants with an understanding of Family Assistance Center operations.  Includes a practical “drill” activity to allow participants an opportunity to perform Family Assistance Center functions, such as collection of ante-mortem information, family interviews, and death notification.

Periodicity:  Available to organizations or communities as requested through the International Mass Fatalities Center.

Course Length:  16 Hours/2 Days
