Operational Support Resources

The following operational support resources are available to Coalition partners for response and recovery operations.

  • HHS emPOWER Map – Allows hospitals, first responders, utility companies, and community members to determine Medicare beneficiaries with electricity-dependent equipment claims in the U.S. and its territories. Real-time NOAA severe weather tracking services can be activated to identify areas and populations at risk for power outages.
  • Healthcare Facility and Provider Database – Offers addresses, phone numbers, administrator names, and state registration or licensure status for Minnesota healthcare providers. (PDF Download)
  • MNHAN (Health Alert Network)Enables public health staff, tribal governments, health care providers, emergency workers, and others working to protect the public to exchange information during a disease outbreak, environmental threat, natural disaster, or act of terrorism.
  • MNTrac – Minnesota system for Tracking Resources, Alerts, and Communications (MNTrac) is a database-driven web application. This system has been designed specifically to track bed, pharmaceutical, and resource availability. Hospital bed diversion status, emergency event planning, emergency chat, and alert notifications are supported in real-time. Information is aggregated from all facilities to enhance communication and share relevant information.
  • SEMN Healthcare Multi-Agency Coordination Center (H-MACC) Guidelines – Outlines the operational functions of the SE Minnesota Healthcare Multi-Agency Coordination Center (H-MACC).  Limited distribution; available upon request.
  • Project Share – Used to gain a more comprehensive and systematic understanding of the longer-term impact of disasters on children and their families, to connect parents and children with appropriate mental health treatment or social services when indicated, and to facilitate children’s communication of their thoughts and feelings about the disaster to their parents at a point in time when the acute impact of the disaster has subsided. Designed to assess longer-term recovery from disasters and thus should be administered 12 to 36 months after the primary event.
