American College of Emergency Physicians The American College of Emergency Physicians is a medical specialty society that was formed in 1968 to improve emergency care by setting high standards for emergency medical education and practice.
American Medical Association – Disaster Preparedness and Medical Response Policies Resources for physicians as well as resources for coping with the emotional effects of disaster.

American Medical Association – JAMA Five articles on Bioterrorism by the Working Group on Civilian Biodefense are available free of charge. In addition a collection of articles addressing Bioterrorism published in JAMA and Archives journals and recent reports related to cases of Anthrax in MMWR.

American Public Health Association (APHA) Excellent resources for public health professionals.

Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC) A multi-disciplinary, voluntary, international organization which provides communication and education for persons involved in infection control. The Resource Section of their web side offers several free Bioterrorism resources.

Emergency Net This site provides crisis, conflict, and emergency service news, analysis, and reference information.

Federation of American Scientists (FAS)  The FAS Chemical and Biological Arms Control Program covers all aspects of chemical and biological weapons and their control, but concentrates, at present, on efforts to prevent the development and use of biological weapons (BW) and the further proliferation of BW programs.

International Association for Counter Terrorism & Security Professionals  Founded in 1992 to meet security challenges facing the world as it enters an era of globalization into the 21st century. Their goals include creating a center of information and education services for those concerned about the challenges now facing all free societies, and promoting professional ethics in the counter terrorism field.

National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO) NACCHO is a nonprofit membership organization serving all of the nearly 3,000 local health departments nationwide – in cities, countries, townships, and districts. NACCHO provides education, information, research, and technical assistance to local health departments and facilitates partnerships among local, state, and federal agencies in order to promote and strengthen public health.

National Association of EMS Physicians The National Association of EMS Physicians is an organization of physicians and other professionals who provide leadership and foster excellence in out-of-hospital emergency medical services.

NBC Industry Group Composed of about 100 companies, not-for-profit organizations, and consultants who support nuclear, chemical, and biological warfare defense activities. They are a good source of information on emerging technologies, products, and services.
